Baby Heidi's Story...
Tiny and sweet are just two of the words that describe this little girl. Only about 12 weeks old, Heidi is for sure at least half dachshund, and it looks like she's probably got long-haired chihuahua in her. She's about half the size of her sister, Liesl. The third picture shows her with Liesl and the last is of her mama, Greta.

Heidi is sweet and loves to be held and loved on, but she is a little timid and coy in a silly way when you first meet her. It takes only a touch of coaxing and then Heidi's ready to get up in your lap for amazing cuddle time.

Please contact us at tmabrescue@gmail.com if you would like to meet and potentially adopt Heidi so that we may give you an application to begin the process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Heidi, a Oakley Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Oakley, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Oakley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakley paves the way for another one to be saved.
