Hi, this is Jasper. Jasper is a Basset Hound mix. He is a year old and weighs about 40 pounds. Jasper is very playful and affectionate. He loves to be chased by his foster dad and tries to keep his toy away from him. He runs, hides, dodges but gives up the toy caught. If daddy won't play with him then he finds another playmate. He is great with dogs but it's not known how he is with cats. He would be great with children. Jasper is housebroken with a doggy door. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, a fecal test was done, and he is microchipped. Contact Terrell at 323-385-8993 or tc2806@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Bellflower Basset Hound/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Corgi for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a Basset Hound/Corgi dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Corgi breeders who help with Basset Hound/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
