I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Tucana, a two-month-old, Labrador mix; she and her 10 littermates are in need of forever homes. They were given up by people who bred their female dog. People without foresight who are responsible for bringing more puppies into a world where there are not enough good homes. Tucana and her sisters and brothers will all be sterilized before going to their furever homes. They will not be responsible for any homeless puppies…. it just has to stop! Mom is a Yellow Lab and Dad is a small (30-35 lbs) Black Lab mix. Labradors or Labrador mixes are a very active breed; no doubt they will require lots of exercise in their adolescence and adulthood. Puppy classes and basic obedience training should definitely be in Tucana’s future in order for her to be a good canine citizen. It is essential that Tucana and her littermates are in a home where they are not alone all day. The puppies should experience exposure to people and everyday sights and sounds. They need supervision, socialization, and frequent potty breaks. They are full of puppy exuberance and wet kisses. If you want to help a puppy grow up to be a good dog, please consider adopting Corduroy or one of his littermates. The first step would be to fill in the Adoption Form.
If you aren’t part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.
Spay or neuter.
