Venus's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Venus's Story...
Venus was left at the vet's office by her owner to be euthanized because she could not produce puppies. She is only around 2-3 years old. Venus must have had a very hard life already as she is very fearful. She will need a very quiet and patient household to help transition. Although she is doing better each day in her foster home, Venus will need an experienced dog owner to help her overcome her fear and trust issues. If you have it in your heart to love and work with this sweet dog who had a very rough start in life, please complete our online adoption form at www.centralohiodogrescue.petfinder.com or email centralohiodogrescue@gmail.com for additional information. Venus' adoption fee is a donation toward rescue of any amount of your choosing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Venus, a Hilliard Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Hilliard, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hilliard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hilliard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hilliard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hilliard paves the way for another one to be saved.
