Marley's Story...
Marley is approx 2 yrs old. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where he was going to be euthanized. He was saved a day before he was scheduled.

He had a condition called, bilateral entropian. Entropian is a disorder of the eyelids in dogs and occurs when the eyelids roll in toward the eye and can be very uncomfortable and easily fixed with surgery. He has since had the surgery to correct the condition and is doing great and waiting for his new home.

Marley is so incredibly sweet and a big goofball. He LOVES everyone and gets along great with dogs and cats. He is very energetic and loves to play.

He would do best in an active home with older kids or another dog to play with.

He also likes to chew and his favorite toy is the Kong stuffed with treats and enjoys chasing balls.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Sacramento Mastiff/Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff/Shar Pei for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Mastiff/Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff/Shar Pei breeders who help with Mastiff/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
