Felicity's Story...
Ok, easy there, calm down. Before you fall head over heels for my good looks I should tell you about my faults too…Ok, ready? Are you dying to know? Ok, my one major fault is that I’m practically perfect. I’m great with children, other dogs, I’m housebroken, crate trained and I can even live with dog savvy cats. I’m quiet, well mannered, affectionate and an all-around kick –butt companion…are you sure you can handle that? Are you sure this major fault doesn't scare you away? I mean, it can be hard to be around such awesomeness day after day…just think about it ok? 4 years old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felicity, a Portland Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
