Ezra's Story...
Ezra was picked up by local animal control and had been living in the shelter for several months. A fellow rescuer couldn't pass him up and notified us he was there. They fostered him and got him neutered. They say he's is extremely sweet and well natured. Loves to be in contact with people and get his belly rubbed. He has been enjoying a cool pool in the hot weather. He's now ready and looking for his forever home. Will that be you? You can send us an email for an application.

You will need to have a good fenced yard, a vet reference that sees pet pigs, and check zoning in your town that pigs are allowed to live there

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ezra, a Sand Springs Pig (Potbellied) was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pig (Potbellied) for sale in Sand Springs, or seeking a Pig (Potbellied) from a breeder in Sand Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sand Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sand Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pig (Potbellied) breeders who help with Pig (Potbellied) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sand Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
