Here's what Lukas' foster mom has to say about this sweet guy: "Lukas is a big teddy bear. His main goal in life is to sit next to you and be petted. If you stop petting him, he will nudge you to remind you to keep going. He likes to spend his day laying on the couch watching what is going on around him. He is indifferent to dogs - he gets along with all types (small and large). He prefers people over dogs so don't expect him to be a playmate for your dog. He uses the dog door like a pro. He sleeps in his crate with the door open in our room at night. He prefers the crate over a dog bed in our room. Around 6:30 am every morning he puts his paws on the bed to let you know he is ready to get up and have us open the dog door (we close it at night). He likes carrots for treats. He likes to go on walks so much so that if you put his harness on him he will sit by the front door staring at it until you go. He loves to get a bath. I think he loves the water running on him while you massage him. It relaxes him so much he lays down. He rides well in the car. He does bark when he hears something in the back yard, but other than that he is not a barker. He is not much of a kisser, but every once in a while he will lick you (usually when we come home). He doesn't show his emotions very often - you might get a little tick tock of his tail and a jumping up on you when you come home, but other then that not a real emotional dog. When he looks at you, his big brown eyes look at you like a human would look at you - as if to focus on what you are saying trying to understand. Overall, Lukas is an easy dog to care for. He just wants to be loved and cared for."
