Rosewater's Story...
Rosewater has come a long way in a short time. She came in so scared that her foster family thought it would be a long time before she ventured out. But with the help of one particular cat that fell in love with her and some treats, she started running up asking for dinner in no time!!! She is still a bit shy and looks for places to hide once in a while, but she steals the hearts of everyone she meets. Her foster family reports that at night she goes to the cat toy box and waits for it to be opened. Rosie, as they call her, then picks out a toy she will play with for the night. She does this every night!!! Rosewater gets along with the cats and dogs in her foster home. She would love to go to a home that will be patient with her initial adjustment, and a bit on the quiet side. She loves the cats and dogs she shares a space with and would love to be somewhere with non aggressive companion animals. She also does not mind the chaotic environment she lives in now (so a loud environment would suit her as well - as long as she has a quiet space where she can retreat for some "Rosie" time).

About Our Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.

175 dollars for 6 months old & up (including spay/neuter)
90 dollars for kittens (not including spay/neuter)
