Milkshake's Story...
Milkshake’s family moved out of the country, so now she is looking for a new one. She lived with children and three small dogs and is accustomed to family life; however, she is not especially fond of large dogs. Milkshake is a friendly cat who likes to be petted on her head and looks for affection from her caregivers. She will explore new areas and enjoys the company of humans.
Milkshake is litter box trained, is used to being in a crate for car rides, and is nice at the veterinarian’s office. Sometimes, she can be a bit sensitive when her front legs are being groomed, so go carefully in that area. Milkshake is a beautiful and affectionate cat that would grace your home and enrich your life. Meet her and see for yourself!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milkshake, a Houston Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Houston, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
