Tami's Story...
Tami is a beautiful gray female kitten with a white spot on her upper chest. She looks just like her brother Toby and sister Tara (only rescue mom can tell these two girls apart). She enjoys playtime with the other kitties. It is fun to watch her as she dashes across the room to be the first at the toys. The feather stick and balls are her favorites. She also likes climbing and play wrestling with the boys. When she's had enough and has tired herself out, she will find a quiet spot to curl up in for a quick snooze break. A really sweet girl - worth seeing. Stop by to visit her at the PetSmart in Leesburg 11am-3pm or contact littlebuddies@erols.com for more information. ~ There is just something special about this liter! You will LOVE her! Tammy was about 10-12 weeks old the first part of August.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tami, a Sterling Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sterling, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sterling.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling paves the way for another one to be saved.
