**ADOPTION PENDING** Sweet Sheila, a lovable lab mix, has arrived!
Little kids, big kids, people of all ages, other dogs & cats too...Sheila loves them all! She's a one-eyed Lab mix who was saved along with her doggie companion, Angus, after being left at a shelter by their previous family. We say it's their loss because this duo is unbelievable! Sheila's sweet as can be and a typical Lab who loves following her people everywhere, wagging her tail the whole time. Sheila loves walks thru the neighborhood, saying hello to everyone along the way & of course they can't help but stop to pet her & tell her how beautiful she is. She's about 7-9 years old, spayed, up to date on shots and got a clean bill of health from the vet. Now, all she needs is for her forever family to stop by and meet her.
Sheila's suggested adoption donation is $100. Although her & Angus are good pals, they can be adopted separately.
Izzy's Place adoption process includes an application, phone interview, and home visit. As we strive to make the best match between dog and adopter, it is not first come/first served.
Rescue Group Info...
Izzy's Place is dedicated to giving abandoned, unwanted, homeless senior dogs a second chance. We are not a shelter. Our dogs live in loving foster homes until adopted. We are dedicated to finding adoptable seniors wonderful homes. We rely solely on donations so won't you please donate a bit to save a senior in need?
Want to meet one of our seniors? Please contact us to set up an appointment.
Adoption fees vary from $50-$175, depending on their age and overall health. We require a fully completed adoption application, verified references, and a home check. Seniors are often abandoned because of their need for more frequent vet visits, medication, etc. so before applying please consider if you have the financial means to care for a senior dog.
We are located in Loveland Colorado, and are looking for more foster homes in Northern Colorado or the Denver area. Eventually, we will expand throughout CO, WY, and other surrounding states.
