JJ-URGENT in GA's Info...
|Breed:||Rat Terrier||Color:||Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less||Sex:||Male|
JJ is approximately 7 years of age and weighs about 17-18 lbs. He is afraid of big dogs and would do better with only one other small dog or alone. He is loving, affectionate and loves to be close to his foster mom all the time. He is also wearing a DogWatch collar for the electric fence. JJ likes to sit like an old man and is always reaching out to touch you...so sweet but afraid of big dogs after being attacked. ( Was attacked by a dog and leg was bitten off and reattached. Leg is fine now but he is very aggressive and afraid of BIG dogs.)
JJ will do beautifully in a home as an only dog or with only one other small dog!

Rescue Group Info...
We are a rescue referral service, which means that we help other rescues advertise and screen to place dogs and get them to safe areas of the country. Please refer to the rescue information on each posting to speak directly with the caretaker for their listing and contact us for any help in coordinating transport or with questions about adoption and the processes.
Our pets are fostered in New England or need to find homes from the southern states we rescue them from in order to save their lives.
We screen all applicants through an application that can be found on our website, www.petfinder.com/shelters/ME97.html
Our adoption fee varies, but is typically $275-$350 (including transport to New England) depending on their vet charges.
