Calhoun's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Calhoun's Story...
Calhoun was one of a litter found in bushes in the middle of a cotton field a half mile from any buildings or people. Have no idea why a litter of three week old kittens would be there. He is very social and playful. He enjoys sleeping on your lap while you watch tv at night when he’s done playing. He is neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV, litterbox trained and current on vaccines.
Home tested, family approved! All our cats stay with foster-care volunteers who have a chance to get to know their personalities while providing TLC.
Contact the Litter League at 602 955 6756 to come see this great kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calhoun, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
