Emma's Story...
Hello there, I’m Emma. I must say it is nice to meet you. At 11 months old I am still a pup but I am already on my way to becoming a wonderful lady. So far I have spend my short life as an outside dog, left alone in a kennel with my sister Bella . Like any puppy, we got bored and would sing each other great songs and have long conversations- well the neighbors didn’t like the noise and that meant we had to go. It is for the best though, now we can get the opportunity to have the wonderful life we deserve. I have started my crate training and am doing wonderful with that, which means that I have taken the first step to becoming that perfect indoor pet you are searching for. I am very comfortable around other dogs but still a bit shy with new people, but don’t let that worry you I will come around in no time. If you are looking for a pretty lady with a pretty personality come on in and meet me. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; current shots, spay, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area only),1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Portland Boxer/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Boxer/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
