HISTORY: One of our F&F foster home volunteers in the Santa Fe area recently trapped a litter of five adorable kittens: CAROLINA, CALLIOPE, CHARISSE, CHRISTANNA, and CLOVER. All the kittens are now adjusting well to life in a foster home.
TEMPERAMENT: CHARISSE is still a bit shy but has come a long way in foster care; she doesn't like to be approached, but will come to you and head-butt your hand for pets, and will lie in bed with her human. She doesn't feel comfortable around small children, but both she and her sister CHRISTANNA love the company of their fellow cats in their foster home, and love the dogs there as well. In fact, they both love the German Shepherd in the home so much they constantly head-butt her and stick their butts in her face as well. CHARISSE seems to want to figure out this whole house cat thing, and will thrive with more individual attention. She is a beautiful girl with a short coat and brown tabby markings.
