Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sunset is looking for a foster home. Can you help?
Sunset is a 1 1/2 year old fawn female mix with natural ears. She is a lovebug that has been through three homes, though no fault of her own. Her first home crated her 18-20 hours a day. Her second home meant well, but did not understand what it meant to have a puppy. Her last home could not manage such a big puppy when her owner had to have unexpected surgery. Sunset is quite the happy girl who loves to play. She loves to chew on bones, take long walks, and be with her people. She loves a good rub behind the ears. Sunset is good with all dogs, and loves everyone she meets. She will require a fenced in yard because she will run given the chance. Obedience training will be required of her adopter. Because she is such an excitable pup, she will not be placed with children under 10.
Update 8/6/12 - Sunset spent the day learning how to use a gentle leader. After a few dramatic snout rubs in the grass, she walked like a champ. She now has a pretty new pink leash to go with her gentle leader. Since we had such a productive day, we finished with a trip to Burger King. Boy, that double cheese burger taste mighty good! Sunset sat and waited for each piece of cheese burger like a lady. She never once lunged or nipped my fingers. This girl has come a long way!
