Astro's Story...
Astro – Boxer/ Bulldog mix

Astro is a very gentle dog with an affectionate and friendly demeanour. Well behaved, calm and quiet, this dog would be an excellent companion for a single person or as a family pet. Astro prefers human companionship to other dogs although he does like to play with other dogs.
Astro is fairly inactive indoors and would do fine with a yard but would love to go for leisurely walks.

Squarely built, compact and short legged he has a bob tail and weighs just over 50 lbs. He is approximately 2 - 3 years old. Very cuddly and loving Astro plays well with children and is very easy going with all people.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Astro, a Hamilton Boxer/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Bulldog for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Boxer/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
