Joy's Story...
Joy-JRT/Terrier young adult female

What a joy we have with JOY! Found in a high kill shelter recently, this young lady is ready to give her heart to a new family. She's a loving little gal, about 8# and about 1 1/2 - 2 years old. Joy gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home. She's loving to all people, crate trained and working on house training.

Her adoption fee is $250 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joy, a Germantown Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
