Chelse- Crosspost's Story...
***THIS IS A COURTESY POST - Please contact Debi Welle, PR director Town of Saugerties Animal Shelter at wdetc@optonline.net for more information***

Chelse is a shelter mate to Emery and her situation is very urgent. She is a sweet girl that loves people and could use some work on her leash manners. Chelse is 4 years old and as you can imagine it is hard growing up in a shelter! She is very strong and loving girl. She is good with adults and older children but because of her strength we are recommending she not be placed with young children. Like Emery, cats are no for Chelse and she is friendly with some dogs so a meet and greet would be necessary before placement! Chelse will be spayed, vaccinated and tested before she goes home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelse- Crosspost, a North Middletown American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in North Middletown, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in North Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
