Jeffrey is a great dog that is still waiting for his forever home. He is a very loving, extremely affectionate and people-oriented dog; he cannot wait to make new friends. He instantly goes up to everyone in a very friendly way, full of love, kisses and exuberant tail wagging. Jeffrey is about 15 months of age and is a great size; he only weighs 44 lbs. This is good considering some do not want a larger dog. Always a puppy, with a great puppy look to him that has never waned, Jeffrey has been socialized with all kinds of dogs at the rescue. He currently lives very peacefully with two other female pit bulls in the home.
Jeffrey is a well-behaved dog. He is calm and appropriate in the house. He is responsive to me and to my instructions, however, he does best when he knows the rules, expectations and routine before being given too many privileges. One of the most adorable features about Jeffrey is his cute set of ears. They often go in the same direction and they are like radar antennas, shifting around and oh so cute!
The most frustrating thing about Jeffrey is that I cannot seem to get a cute, adorable photo of him. He always has some strange look on his face as soon as I bring the camera out and point it at him. But trust me, Jeffrey is very cute and much cuter in person. What makes him so cute is his adorable personality and loving nature. A plus about Jeffrey is that he takes treats very gently from your hands. He is crate- trained and potty-trained (but potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment) and he has a nice balance or being playful and also chilling out. The home that I am seeking for Jeffrey is a home with a well socialized female dog, his own size or larger, to be his friend and companion. I will consider Jeffrey to be placed as an only dog in the home, if placement as such strikes me as representing a good fit for his adoption.
Jeffrey is neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated including rabies, and micro-chipped. If you are interested in Jeffrey, please contact Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue at: adopt@angelsheartdogrescue.com or: 626-340-9316. E-mail is preferable. If you prefer to phone the rescue, please ensure that you have read the dog’s bio and have visited my website at: http://www.angelsheartdogrescue.com and gone to the Adoption Tab to read about the adoption process; thank you!

Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.
FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! PLEASE CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFO ON BECOMING A FOSTER FOR OUR RESCUE.
Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. If you are interested in learning more about a particular dog, please contact us at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999
Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.
Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.
An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.
Treasured Tails Canine Rescue is a volunteer based dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. Our available dogs are in foster homes throughout Riverside County and parts of Orange County. We adopt our dogs throughout Southern Ca only.
