Yoshi's Story...
Yoshi's owner took him to the high kill facility, and left him, because he was going to be to big for an apartment. At least, that is the reason they gave. They had not even bothered to have him vaccinated. Yoshi is very lucky he made it out, without having Parvo, a killer of unvaccinated dogs and puppies. He is protected now, with the shots he has received while being fostered. He is an exuberant, active young boy, full of play and amusing antics, so typical of the Boxer breed. He has been vaccinated, heartworm tested, and he is micro-chipped. Knowledge of his breed is necessary for adoption. If you are a Boxer lover, and would like to give him a safe, forever home, contact colliegal45@socket.net or call 573-756-2237

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoshi, a Sunset Hills Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Sunset Hills, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Sunset Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sunset Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sunset Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sunset Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
