I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Rosco came to us with his buddy, Lincoln. Their owners worked full time, just had a baby, lived in a small condo, didn't have much of a yard for the dogs to exercise in, and just did not have any time to spend with the dogs. Lincoln was quickly adopted, and now it's Rosco's turn to find a new forever home!
Rosco is very loyal, well-mannered, and listens very well. He loves to be outside, running and playing, but will not argue if he has to lay around and nap indoors. He is completely house-trained and likes to cuddle. Rosco might do best in a home without young children or babies. He gets nervous around them and gets up and walks away. He is GREAT with other dogs, but is NOT good with cats. Once he bonds with someone, he follows them everywhere and is their constant companion. Rosco is just a very sweet, friendly, and beefy guy.
Rosco is 7 years old and is a Rottweiler/American Staffordshire Terrier mix.
Rosco's adoption fee is $125 which includes his neuter surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events. Four Paws Rescue is a private, 501(c)3, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs and cats. Four Paws has been rescuing dogs and cats since 2000. We rescue stray and abandoned cats, dogs, puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters, place them in caring foster homes (if available) and then adopt them into loving, life-long home.
Since our shelter is not set up for drop by visits, appointments can be made with our Director to meet any dog in person. Just leave a detailed message with Lisa (Director) at 435-752-3534 or email her volunteer at scfourpaws@hotmail.com.
Our adoption fees range from $125-200. Each pet is spayed or neutered, and current on rabies, parvo and distemper vaccinations
Four Paws Rescue is located in Cache Valley in Northern Utah. We mainly focus on Utah and surrounding states adoptions, but have done a few out-of-state adoptions as well.
