Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hopper is a retired racing Greyhound.
Born: 6-10
Cat Tolerant
Hopper is a 2-year old Greyhound who came to us early in June from Florida. He has had two bouts of illness, the last of which put him in ICU for 3 days and almost cost him his life.
Hopper has been evaluated by a cardiologist and neurologist and has been cleared of any heart problems. He is taking anti-seizure medications, Phenobarbital and potassium bromide to minimize the chance of seizures.
Everyone who meets Hopper is charmed by this happy gregarious guy who freely bestows kisses to everyone.
Greyhounds are a gentle, sensitive breed. They have good temperaments and make ideal house pets because they love being near people, they are clean, quiet, undemanding, and take up a small amount of space (in spite of their size). Greyhounds actually need a small amount of exercise relative to other dog breeds. Most Greyhounds can be found lying around the house napping!
