Faith - NJ's Story...
Faith weighs 12.6 lbs and is going to be spayed on Thursday 8/9/12. Once she heals from her surgery, she will be ready for her forever home! Faith is a super sweet and loving girl. Loves to play with all the dogs here and is very sweet and gentle with kids. She takes treats like an angel and licks the air as if she tastes her freedom and likes the flavors. She was afraid to go out the doggie door at night but soon learned that if she went out she could come back in. Now she flies out the door with the rest of the pack. She will sleep in a bed on the floor or on the big bed if allowed. She is not a big barker and the vet guesses her age to be 2 or 3 years. Her adoption fee is $250, and her foster home is in Sicklervile, NJ. For more information about Faith, contact her foster mom at 609-868-0875 or jeire@comcast.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith - NJ, a Jacobus Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Jacobus, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Jacobus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacobus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacobus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacobus paves the way for another one to be saved.
