found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Stray dog Annie limped up to a country home in our rural area, and we were called in to evaluate her situation. We took her to the vet, who proceeded to splint her leg, in the hopes that she could begin to walk on this right front limb. We are working on her leg to see if she will regain the feeling in it, but if not, Annie will probably lose it. Evidently she was injured after being hit by a car, but without any treatment, it healed improperly.
This loving, active pup is happy as can be, and her immobile leg doesn't slow her down a bit! If she does lose it to amputation, we're sure she will get around with no problem! We will keep her for a while until we know her prognosis, and can spay her before adoption. Follow Annie on this journey, and we'll keep you updated.
Update: Annie had her leg amputated on Sept. 8th, and proceeded to act as if nothing had happened---what a trooper!! :) Stitches will come out Oct. 6th, and then she will require spaying. Whew! This girl will have gone through a lot! Annie will be available for adoption mid October, and she is a true survivor. She will make a wonderful companion for the lucky person or family that make her their own.
