Buttercup's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/buttercup-yorkie.html -- Hello. My name is Buttercup. My best friend was a Siberian Husky. He let me sleep on his thick fur. So, I love dogs. I am in a home with several other Yorkie's and a min-pin. We have a great time.

I am a typical Yorkie. Love to follow you, snuggle and well of course share your pillow.

Got a lap. Nothing better than TV time.

I am a little taller / longer legs so I am not a tea cup / small Yorkie. But I am a great travel companion. I will sleep on your lap and let get in the way.

If you want a companion that wants to be with you, go with you and be part of the family, I am the forever dog for you!

For more information or to meet me, please complete an Adoption Interest form (found on Valley Dogs Web Site) and please email mwest@valleydogs.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a Gilbert Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
