Pretzel-goofy family cat's Story...
The runt of her litter, Pretzel will likely remain slim and tiny for life, but has enough personality and moxie for a kitty twice her size. This beauty with saucer eyes chases the vacuum around (unheard of with cats!), likes to greet visitors at the door, and has never shyed away from a wrestling match with her much larger foster sister. Pretzel is a special girl, who is highly adaptable, gets along with dogs (after a small period of adjustment), all cats, and people. She isn't a lap cat, but loves to sleep in bed on foster mom's feet at night and likes to be near her people while "playing it cool." She's ideal for a family with children, someone looking to get their cat a companion, or someone who works from home but needs a cat who won't require constant attention. If you'd like to meet this feisty feline please give her foster mama a call at (323) 326-4713 or email her at PAurora61@yahoo.com.

ABOUT LUXE PAWS
We promote animals for adoption our volunteers rescue from the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Silver Lake, Los Feliz & Echo Park. Our goal is to stop animals from reproducing in our community by partnering with our neighbors to help homeless animals find loving homes, providing spay/neuter assistance for homeless animals in our operating area.

ADOPTING FROM LUXE PAWS
Our unique in-home 'meet & greets' offer a very personalized approach to adoption and ensure a lifetime bond. Our rescue animals are not in cages, but are lovingly cared for and socialized in private homes by volunteer fosters.
We do NOT have a facility & we are NOT a shelter therefore we cannot take-in animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pretzel-goofy family cat, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
