Indie's Story...
Indiana Jones is approx one year old, and is very sweet and loving. He has been to puppy training classes and knows "sit", "down", "stay" pretty well. He loves hiking and he's doing really well on heeling when he's walked. He basically follows his human around the house and sits down wherever they are...he just wants companionship. If you are home most of the time and want a wonderful dog to give & receive love and attention, then Indie is your guy!

Indie does well around gentle, well-mannered dog (his best friend is a nice lab). Originally, he enjoyed the dog park but, unfortunately, he got bit and now he's immediately on edge there, so he'd prefer to skip the dog park from now on. He absolutely loves kids, is very patient with them, and loves adults as well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indie, a Mesa American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Mesa, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
