LEO's Info...

Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix Color: Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - With White Age: Young
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Sex: Male
LEO's Story...
Leo is approximately 1 year old and is UTD on shots, crate trained and can get along with other dogs. We are requiring that all adopters sign a training addendum and must register for training classes with a reputable trainer. Leo was apparently a stray in California so not much of his history is known, but reports from his foster home are that he is very mellow, has great house manners and does well with children and other dogs. He is an affectionate and happy boy and would do best with experienced owners that have the time to continue his basic training. If you would like more information or would like to fill out an application, please email us.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a group of individuals, foster homes and dog trainers, dedicated to helping unwanted or otherwise discarded pets that have no hope in the shelter system. Often these dogs have medical or behavioral issues that would deem them "unadoptable" by other rescues. Our volunteers dedicate their time and homes to helping train, socialize and ready dogs for adoption.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Pets are located in foster homes throughout Kitsap county. For information on how to meet a specific pet, please contact us.
Our Adoption Process...

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Serving western Washington; including Kitsap, Pierce and King counties.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LEO, a Silverdale American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Silverdale, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Silverdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Silverdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Silverdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Silverdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
