Jake's Story...

Jake is a 6 month old German Shepherd/Hound mix. He is such a loving pup who loves to snuggle & lay next to the people he loves. He loves to go on walks and still is such a puppy who loves to pick up sticks and play. He is full of energy but is very laid back as well. He is a true gentlemen who loves everyone and every dog he meets. He wants to please you and is a very smart puppy who learns quickly. He hasn't had an accident yet and I would consider him housebroken. He has slept every night in our bed with my husband and I and hasn't moved a muscle once he is in bed as he is in heaven. STL MO

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a St. Louis German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
