Meow! My name is Clarissa

Hello! My name is Clarissa. You may remember the name from Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf, a novel about a high-society woman. Well, let me tell you that, although I would do just fine in high society (with my formal black and white markings), I would also find all those social events insufferably boring. You see, at the age of a year and a half, all I want to do is play, play, play. I can play with just about anything, but my favorite toys are bouncy balls, which I can catch mid-air or bat with my paw to bounce on the ground. Maybe I can play basketball in the next Olympics! What do you think? I can be a little wary and skittish when I first meet people but am very affectionate once I learn to know and trust you. Then I will make sure to come up and let you know that I'm ready for a little affection and play time. I do OK with other kitties, but I'd prefer to be an only kitty -- all the more playtime for me! I'm confident enough to go to a home with dogs, but probably wouldn't be the dog's buddy. I have been spayed, microchipped, tested negative, and am up to date on all my shots.
