Gunner's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Gunner's Story...
Gunner is about 60 pounds of lovin', he wants to be curled up at your feet, ON your feet or right next to you on the couch if you let him. He loves walks and is passionate about playing fetch. He is totally crate trained and loves his crate. He loves chewing on antlers and hooves but has been completely non destructive of anything else. One of Gunners very favorite treats is peanut butter.
When on walks Gunner can get really excited and is still learning to not pull ahead, we are using the Gentle Leader with positive results. He is a very good hiker and once that first excited 10 minutes of walking passes, he settles nicely at your side. Gunner is a very nice dog that would do well with most any home. He may be a bit high energy for very small children, but would do well with a family that would give him structure, continued training and exercise. He gets along great with other dogs, but is not a fan of cats!
He knows Sit, Lie Down, Shake & Roll Over. He is eager to learn and responds well to both treats and affection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Encino American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Encino, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
