Tupert's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tupert's Story...
Tupert is too pretty to be a boy. He's going to be an absolutely beautiful cat, and you better love that long hair, because he's going to be a lap-lover. He's curled up in the crook of my elbow every time that I sit down. He's adorable and sweet and I don't imagine it will take long to see him go to a new home. If you are interested in this amazingly cute and affectionate ball of fur please go to our website and complete an application and email it to Meredith at mtavenner@roadrunner.com..

Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $100, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tupert, a Winchester Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
