My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annabelle is a 1 1/2 year old, super sweet yellow lab. She was surrendered by her owners to a "high kill" shelter for reasons we'll never know. She's as pretty as she is smart and about average sized for a lab. She is a great size to jump in the SUV and go with the family. She's an excellent passenger in the car and is very comfortable riding. She loves a kiddie pool to splash in and will retrieve anything you thow in it! After her last Vet visit we took her to a local farm store to pick out a toy for her good behaviour at the Vet. She picked out a tennis ball... wouldn't you know :) Since arriving in foster she's learned to lead on an "anti-pull" mesh harness, sit for her food or a treat, and lay. She's a quick study! She's met about 12 different sized dogs since arriving and loves them all. She is best with dogs she can romp and play with as she's a young vibrant girl. She will need plenty of exercise to continue her success and lots of family time as well. Annabelle is spayed, tested negative for heartworms and was immediately started on heartworm/flea preventative. She's up to date on her shots and ready to meet her new family
