Max's Story...
My name is Max the Mighty and I am the tri-pawed superhero of the group! My life drastically changed earlier this year when I was hit by a car downtown. My former owner brought me to the ladies at Westside with my leg bandaged up, but it wasn't possible to save it, so I've had to adjust to doing things a little differently.

I have to admit, at first things were kind of scary..but now I'm fine and I'm ready to take on the world! I'm SO excited to find the most amazing family who will see that what I lack for in spare parts, I make up for in heart! ;)

I LOVE riding in the car, going to the park and playing with kids. Once in awhile, I slip, but all-in-all, I get around just like all of the other dogs. I need someone who will keep me active and fit, so I can live life to the fullest and represent tri-pawed dogs everywhere!

If you've always dreamt of having a superhero of your very own, your day is here! Contact my friends at Westside Rescue (westsiderescue@gmail.com)to set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Fresno Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Fresno, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
