PROFESSOR's Story...
Hi! We are the castaways! A litter of 8, four girls and four boys! We were born on Mother's Day this year and will be spayed and neutered soon so we can go home with you! We are very gentle mixed breed babies. We love our chewey toys, chasing our foster mom's shoe laces, escaping from our kennel and running all amuck as only puppies can do! We will be on the smaller side when full grown. Our mommy is a purebred ACD but don't cast us off because we have herding dog blood! We are gentle and mild mannered. We LOVE our foster kids- all five of 'em! Won't you give us a home???

To apply to adopt please visit www.barkaritaville.org and complete our adoption application today! All of our adoptable pets are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and registered to their new owner, and come with the first month of a Shelter Care Pet Health Insurance policy paid for by Barkaritaville!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PROFESSOR, a Sterling Heights Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
