My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jack.... a 3-4-year-old sweetheart who weighs around 60-70 pounds. Jack is a fabulous dog who loves car rides. He is great with everyone, playful, smart and would love a family to call his own.

Jack came to AOW from a high kill animal control facility in Altus, OK. He was an owner surrender due to allergies It's obvious that he has had some training. We believe he is housetrained as he doesn't mess in his crate, the people had him previously said he was housetrained, and the foster who over nighted him before he arrived at Central Bark said there were no accidents. Jack is, crate trained, knows all her basic obedience commands, sit, and stay. He likes to play in the kiddie pool and is a favorite at Central Bark. Jack is being foster at Central Bark Doggy Daycare in Oswego, which is where you would go to meet him after we have received an adoption application from you to be sure you are a good match for him. He really is a people pleaser, and will make a fabulous addition to your family.

If you would like this fabulous dog, do to www.angelsonwheels.org to complete the on-line adoption application.

The adoption fee of $250.00 includes: his neutering which is already done, Heart worm tested negative, rabies vaccinated, microchipped, up to date on vaccination for Distemper-Adenovirus-Parainfluenza-Parvo, dewormed with panacur and droncit, treated with frontline plus for the prevention of fleas and ticks, and heartguard for the prevention of heartworm. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park or Wheaton Animal Hospital, a training dvd, and tons of coupons for Petco.

The adoption also comes with a free puppy/doggy class through Flydogs located at Central Bark Doggie Day Care in Oswego, which introduces you to housebreaking, name recognition, crate training, sit/stay and leash walking. This is one free class you really don't want to miss, and 10% off purchase of a 10-day care package for dogs attending Central Bark Doggy Day Care in Oswego.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals and wanting to give them a wonderful home.
