Sakari's Story...
Sakari: Sakari is a Malinois Shepherd mix about 1 year old. She is about 55 lbs. Sakari is a very sweet and friendly dog. She likes attention, but only after she has fully explored all around her. Sakari gets along well with other dogs and loves people, though a bit hesitant at first. Sakari is crate trained and does very well in the house. She is an explorer though and can climb a 6 foot fence. However, she does stay in my 4 foot fence that has a hot wore running along the top.

For more information on Sakari, please contact her foster mom Ann at imabigdog_lover@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sakari, a Haverhill Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois for sale in Haverhill, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Haverhill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haverhill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haverhill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haverhill paves the way for another one to be saved.
