Kudzu's Story...
Kudzu is an energetic 5-6 month old hound mix puppy. He hasn't come across a toy he does not like. He is dog friendly and loves to spend time playing with his foster mom's one-year-old female mixed breed. Kudzu has not been exposed to cats or other critters. He is people friendly and loves to give lots of kisses. Kudzu is crate trained (where he sleeps at night), learning to walk on a leash, and working to master the 'sit' command.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kudzu, a Carlisle Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Bloodhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
