Jak is an awesome little dog! We think that he may be a beagle or dachshund mix. He has very good manners. He is very laid back and easy to please. He's around 2 years old and is great on a leash. He loves car rides and comfy couches to lay on. He's great with young children and older adults. Jak enjoys exploring the outdoors so he does need a home with a fence. He's will make a great companion in a forever home and is a nice size for apartment dwellers or folks not wanting a large dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jak, a Carlisle Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
