My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Copper and Jet, two beautiful 6 year old male Cocker Spaniels. Copper and Jet were unlucky enough to find themselves displaced and homeless after a divorce. We at Happy Tails were asked to take them in and naturally, we stepped up. Copper and Jet are both very well mannered boys who have been spoiled their entire lives. They love nothing more than to be with their people and sleep in bed with them. They are both pretty low key and mellow, like to go for walks at the park and at the beach. They are both content to sit on the couch and snuggle and watch TV with you. Copper and Jet are extremely bonded and are each others security, so separating them is not an option. They have been in foster care for almost two months and are finally coming around. It was very very hard for them when they first arrived as they were confused and scared, as they had just lost the only home they had ever known. Copper the multi colored cocker does have some skin issues/allergies which is being treated. They are on hypo allergenic duck and potato food which they will probably need to be maintained on. Both boys have wonderful ears, unlike so many other cockers you find that have the constant ear problems/infections. They will come to you up to date on all shots, neutered, microchipped, and with dentals recently done. The ideal home for these great boys would have no younger children, and be a nice and quite place for them to be able to settle in. Copper and Jet are not big fans of large dogs, so larger dogs in the new home would not be a great idea. They do live with cats at the moment and would rather pretend like they don't exist :) so if you think you can give these wonderful boys the quite home environment that they are seeking please fill out a Statement of Interest and someone will get back to you shortly! Thanks so much!
