Rose's Story...
MEET ROSE!!!! She is a gorgeous 2 year old sweetheart!! Great petite kitty, LOVES people, comes when you call her. Very lovely and playful kitten. Starts purring as soon as you touch her or pick her up. No any kind of trouble at all. Not fond of dogs, but gets along fine with our mellow lab - he stays out of her business and she does the same. If I am in the kitchen, she will stay with me. She is Tofel's favorite buddy. She was rescued from Downey Shelter with moments to live.

She did test positive for FIV. FIV is perfectly ok to be around other animals. She is a very healthy girl!

She has been spayed and double vaccinated. She is ready for a new home now!

Friends: Tofel

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Simi Valley Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
