MIssy's Story...
MIssy, cutest little girl on 4 paws. She was very timid when she arrived, but learning to be brave! She is making such progress. She will need a home with lots of love and someone who has time to spoil her and treat her like the princess she is. Once she knows you, she is super snuggly. She is spayed and potty trained. She is up to date on shots. Walks great on a leash, she is crate trained. She will do best in a home with lots of love and activity, not left for more than 3 or 4 hours on a regular basis, she is just a baby!

Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog!

We are Lucky Pup Dog Rescue, a 501c3 non profit dog rescue in San Diego, California. We are a small rescue staffed by all volunteers.
Our adoption process does require an application, a home visit and a min tax deductible donation to our rescue of $200. ($250 for puppies under a year)
Your donation helps to cover the rescue costs (spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, worming, flea treatments and any other medical needs). Your donation not only helps the dog you adopt, but it also helps us to rescue another dog from the shelter.

Our APPLICATION is located on our website http://www.LuckyPupDogRescue.com.

Once we have your application, we can set a time to meet the pup (s) you are interested in. Many of our dogs are in foster homes around the community, so we would need to set an appointment.
We also hold monthly adoption events around the San Diego area and they are listed on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MIssy, a san diego Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) for sale in san diego, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) puppy from a breeder in san diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in san diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a san diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in san diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
