Manuel's Story...
Carmen and her brother Dante, are two 3-week old chihuahuas we rescued on Sunday, 8-12-12 (at that time, 2 weeks old) from a Kill Shelter located 6 hours away. They are absolute sweethearts! They will be available for adoption mid September but you should pre-qualify because they won't last. The adopters will be responsible for their vaccinations and to have them spayed/neutered at 4-6 months of age (and to show proof--we don't kid around about that stuff).

9-12-12 UPDATE: MANUEL IS WEANED, HAD HIS 1ST PUPPY SHOTS AND IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NOW!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manuel, a Arenas Valley Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Arenas Valley, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Arenas Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arenas Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arenas Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arenas Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
