My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ming. Born approximately 5/2011.

For a classic Siamese, you don't find a more beautiful cat than Ming.
She has stunning blue eyes and sharp seal colored muzzle, feet and tail.
Her coat is a little rough now because of her previous poor situation
but we expect it to return to it's beautiful quality now that she is
spayed and getting all of the food she needs.
Ming is comfortable with large gentle dogs that leave her alone. She is
loved by elderly people and might also be good with well behaved
children. Ming also gets along with most cats as long as the
introduction is not too abrupt. She follows us around chatting to us in
her nice voice that sounds like "murrrlll" when she talks. Ming is going
to be a nice companion, not necessarily a pesky cat that is constantly
in front of the computer screen, more like a cat that will sit beside
you while you watch TV or work on your email.
Beautiful Ming was abandoned along with Teemo & Legend, in a foreclosed
home. Well, thankfully, they didn't lock her inside, then no one would
have known she was starving to death. They just tossed her out into the
yard to fend for herself. While she was shy when she got to Rescue, she
quickly warmed up to the idea of human companionship. She is a real hero
in our eyes. She alerted her rescuers to two other cats on the property
that would have otherwise been overlooked. Then once she got to foster
care she became a surrogate mother for ten small kittens. She would wash
their faces and let them nuzzle her for comfort. It was nothing to see
her lying down with 4-6 kittens all in a pile around and on top of her.
Now the babies are gone and Ming is ready to start a new life with
people who care enough to keep her inside and take her with them no
matter what the circumstances are.
