My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 08/08/2012: Cheri is a wonderful little 3 year old (the vet now thinks maybe even younger!) 11 lb girlie who is being fostered in Orlando, FL. Cheri is momma to Aubrey and herself is a survivor! When Cheri came to the shelter, she was matted to the skin. There was no choice but to shave her. As a result, she is fuzzy right now. :) We still maintain that Cheri is a yorkie mix. She does not shed. However, exactly what she's mixed with is a mystery (and we have NO idea what Aubrey is! lol)

Cheri is 100% housetrained, LOVES other dogs, and loves her human. She is the best mommy to Aubrey and can be adopted as soon as Aubrey is 8 weeks old (we will entertain apps that want both mom and baby, but we will also separate them if a wonderful home comes along who can only take one). Please consider sweet Aubrey. After all she has gone through, she deserves a happy FURever home :)

UPDATED BIO 7/4/2012: Cheri is an adorable girl who the vet now things is closer to 3 than 5 years old. She is 13 lbs (hey, she just had a baby! Give her a break!) and is being fostered in Orlando, FL.

Cheri (unbeknownst to us) was pregnant at the time of rescue. She gave birth yesterday to a beautiful baby girl. Mom and baby are doing well. Please stay tuned. With Cheri's unknown history, the baby is at higher risk than most (especially since Cheri has been at a shelter, matted, and received vaccines - something pregnant dogs don't get). Please keep both girlies in your prayers!
