Classy Contented Cleo!'s Story...
Cleo lost her home when her owner's son decided that he wanted a kitten. Confused and hungry, she made her way to a neighbor's yard and was taken in. Now she's looking for a forever home - someone who won't abandon her this time!

Cleo is a sweet young girl who loves to be adored. She’ll always greet you with affection and will happily climb on your lap for a petting. She is equally content curled up on a chair for a nice long cat-nap. Cleo is a no-muss, no-fuss kinda gal! She is happy just being inside with someone to show her affection.

To make Cleo's wishes come true - call Donna at 917-691-9466 or e-mail her at straycatstrutnyc@gmail.com.

Thanks so much for helping a kitty in need! Your donation goes to help the next abandoned sweetheart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Classy Contented Cleo!, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
