Sandy came to us from a neglectful household. As soon as she was safe with us she was nothing but a wiggle butt. Shes about a year old, up to date on shots, spayed, house trained, crate trained and ready to lick you until you cant take it anymore. Sandy could be great in almost any type of home, she loves all people and for the most part also loves all dogs, she even doesnt mind kitties! After a nice long walk she completely content just sitting next to you and hanging out. She loves bones and is very food motivated and eager to learn always!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Pittsbugh Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pittsbugh, or seeking a Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Pittsbugh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsbugh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsbugh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsbugh paves the way for another one to be saved.
