Eddy's Info...
| Breed: | Chihuahua | Color: | Black - With White | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less | Sex: | Male |
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Hola! We are the three Chi Amigos, Eddy (who is a black male), Ashley, (who is the sable female) and Honey (who is a the tiniest one, a blond female).
We were out for a stroll one summer day when we saw this terribly handsome man carrying, of all things, a huge bag of DOG FOOD. We thought it must be a sign because we were really hungry, so we followed him all the way to the porch of what was going to be our new foster home. After all, that's where the food was going to be! The AAT folks tried to find out where we belonged but no one seemed to be looking for us and none of us had a microchip. So now they will find us a new forever home.
We have been vaccinated, spayed (well, Eddy has been neutered) and microchipped. We are all healthy and none of us have heartworms. We are learning how to walk nicely on a leash and our new foster mom is getting us all ready to go to a new home.
We are very charming, sweet little chi's and are very well-mannered. Also, you can see from our photos that we are as cute as can be! We love each other a lot and would be overjoyed to be adopted together. We would be oh, so thrilled to never have to part ways.
If you are interested in the Chi Amigos please fill out an application for Eddy, Ashley and/or Honey at http://www.animalalliesoftexas.org/dogs/ today!

Rescue Group Info...
Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."
We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org for specific locations and times.
All potential adopters must submit an application, either online via our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org or a paper application at an adoption event. General requirements for adoption: You must live in the DFW/Ft. Worth/North Texas area - we do not adopt outside this area. Dogs must be primarily inside, and cats must be totally inside. Cats must not be declawed. All pets must be spayed/neutered if this has not been done prior to adoption. Adopter must agree to a home visit prior to adoption. Adopter MUST agree to return pet to AAT if he/she can no longer keep the pet or if AAT deems it to be in the best interest of the pet. An adoption agreement detailing these and other requirements must be signed to finalize adoption. Current fees are: dogs-$175, cats-$110. This covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
Animal Allies of Texas serves all cities and towns within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (North Texas area). We restrict adoptions to these areas so that we can do home visits to ensure the best placement for all our animals.
